That color is controlled by your Selection color that you define in your Main config.xml. It looks like you have chosen Sage Green as your viewers color theme, and thus your selection color is yellow.

In the Attribute Table that you show there are columns named Request Date and Request Time with dates and times, respectively. I have read that the Attribute Table widget currently only allows you to display records as they appear in the table, without the ability to format the data. Was the data in these 2 columns already in the format that you are displaying?
