Installation Issues

I am trying to install the latest release of ArcGIS Viewer for Flex, but get an error when trying to open the webpage: http://<machine name>/flexviewer/index.html.

I get an error which reads:

Error Summary
HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error
The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid. Detailed Error InformationModule IIS Web Core
Notification BeginRequest
Handler Not yet determined
Error Code 0x80070021
Config Error This configuration section cannot be used at this path. This happens when the section is locked at a parent level. Locking is either by default (overrideModeDefault="Deny"), or set explicitly by a location tag with overrideMode="Deny" or the legacy allowOverride="false".

Has anyone come across the same error? If so, how did you resolve it?

I am running ArcMap 10/Windows 7. Thanks

It is most likely a problem with the IIS security setup. The following forum post might be helpful - http://forums.asp.net/t/1115232.aspx/1?Server+Error+HTTP+Error+500+19+Internal+Server+Error:

"Check the web application folder permission and make sure the following users and groups are included \ASPNET and \IIS_IUSRS and \IUSR."

Thanks for your assistance. As a follow up, I found this YouTube video on the link you provided. I followed the steps in it, and my issues were resolved.
