Intersection Search in Flexviewer

Hi..

is there a way to do a search for an Intersection in Flexviewer?

I tried to use the current search in Flexviewer and it did not work.

I've configured an intersection/address search. You need to publish a geocoding service. Use this geocoding service as the source in the Locate widget. You can set the intersection identifier when you set up the geocoder in ArcCatalog (such as Main@First or Main\First). You will have to use this in the Locate widget.

I am using the geocoding service from arcgisonline,... the ones came with Flexviewer..

Yeah..I just tested the "default" locate widget with the supplied ESRI services....intersections work by specifying the @ or & symbols in between the 2 streets....

I do not if I am missing something in the code... I tried @ and & for the following intersection and it did not work..
the intersection is : sw 8th st & sw 4th ave
City: miami

Not sure what to tell you..I have found that the geocoder I set up is pretty sensitive and you need to be right on with the streets. I have taken this widget out of my app for now. I need to look at the geocoding service and see if I can "open" this up a bit.
