This is different then the ShpOverlay widget which did not concern itself with projections at all.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Shape File Loads at 0,0 without .prj file&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Robert,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is it only also ???advisable??? to include the .prj file or is it necessary?&amp;nbsp; I have a plume modeling program that pushes out the attached files in zip format.&amp;nbsp; [IWMDT_shpOutput.zip]&amp;nbsp; It loads with no errors but at 0,0 - this is probably because there is no projection file.&amp;nbsp; (I added projection and everything works great.) &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;My concern is my customers have been using an adapted Flex Viewer Version 1.0 [Build: 06.12.09].&amp;nbsp; In this application I was using the original widget called ???ShpOverlay??? that I have attached as well.&amp;nbsp; Using these same files (without .prj files), the ShpOverlay widget works fine.&amp;nbsp; See attached plume sceen capture.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is this new generation of the same widget (Version 3.3.1) handling the shapefiles differently?&amp;nbsp; Or am I doing something wrong.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;This is my environment:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Shapefiles Widget Version 3.3.1 - July 2, 2013&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&amp;nbsp; ArcGIS 10 Server Advanced Enterprise SP5 (10.05)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&amp;nbsp; ArcGIS Viewer 3.3 for Flex (Source code) [arcgis-viewer-flex-3.3-src.zip]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&amp;nbsp; ArcGIS API 3.3 for Flex [arcgis_api_for_flex_3_3.zip]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Flash Builder 4.6 [FlashBuilder_4_6_LS10.exe]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Flex SDK 4.6 [flex_sdk_4.6.zip]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
