on our public sites we are seeing the following error when using the widget (e.g. graphical search).

[RPC Fault faultString="Error #2048" faultCode="null" faultDetail="null"] ... [RPC Fault faultString="Error #2048" faultCode="null" faultDetail="null"]

The layers are drawing , pop-ups work, etc.

If you use fiddler it show you that it is failing to get the crossdomain.xml from the server

http://maps.clevelandgis.net/crossdomain.xml is our internal server.

I have a crossdomain file in http://www.clevelandgis.org/crossdomain.xml

Why is it looking at my internal server? It is where the swf was created.

Xander,

Is this the first time you are using your reverse proxy? It seems like that is what your server configuration is. If that is the case than you need to be using your external servers name in your config.xml so that the proxy passes the right url. This is a server configuration issue that you can call tech support for.
