Formatting Related Records - Flexviewer 3.4

Hello all,

I apologize if this is somewhere on the forum, I couldn't find an appropriate thread.

Here is my situation:

I am using flexviewer v3.4 to display my data from a sanitary sewer network. Many of the layers have related records. I am able to display the related records, no problem.

Here is my dilema:

I would like to format the display of the related records in the flexviewer pop-up. I am able to format the attributes of the initial feature queried through xml but the related record info is not stored in the pop-up xml file. Where do you go to edit the formatting/display properties of the related records?

I am unaware of any mechanism currently available for configuring related record results.

Hi,

I am having the same problem, I would like to show only some related records and to be able to format them.
Have anyone found a solution to this? Or is it going to be addressed in a new version of the flex viewer? I am using 3.5...

I have been waiting for this functionality for a long time. Domains get thru in related records, yet formatting does not. I have a date/time field that is useless because it only displays date....time is a key component and without it the field almost means nothing. The ESearch widget can show correct field formatting as per your source data. I would expect Esri to be able to allow users to format related records....or at least be able to display all fields as they currently are in your data!
