topic Automatically generate Flex Viewer Popups in ArcGIS Viewer for Flex Questions

I posted a script to automate the generation of popup files for the ESRI 3.x Flex Viewer for those times when you have hundreds of fields or layers and don't want to spend days typing. The script generates a popup file for each layer in the map service as well as a file containing a sample entry for the config.xml file with all of the popups added as sublayers. The user can optionally add to the Ignore_list in the script if there are fields that the user wishes to be turned off in popups by default. The zip file contains a README file with detailed usage instructions and a Python script. No installation is necessary. The script requires two inputs - an output folder, and the URL for an ArcGIS server map service layer (specifically the layer info in json format) which you can get by browsing to your services directory, clicking on the service, clicking on the layers link, and then right clicking the json link to copy the url.

The search could not find it so I reposted here, but the download is on this page:

http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=94fb1ddfb7a5459c87a5e8105e7110ee
