Question on output directory for print

Hello All,
I able to view my print in pdf format when you use print widget internally. Do you have any ideas or best way for public to view your print that store under arcgisserver/directories/arcigsoutput?
So public can see your url externally.
e.g.
http://internalservername/agsGIS101/rest/directories/arcgisoutput/PrintCustom/AdvancedHighQualityPrinting_GPServer/_ags_WebMap_43d70e70-7def-11e3-8bc0-90b11c0cc730.PDF

well they should be connecting to your app via an external url not "internalservername" correct?

or are you saying that when they are using your app via the external url, the resulting prints are using the internal url and therefore they get a not found error?

If it's the latter, you probably need to set your print task url to use the external url and not the internal.

Yes, the output file after generate from print task always go to internal server. So public can't access the pdf file which is under arcigsoutput.

Is your map services open to public? What is url your print task generate? If upgrade to 10.2 will solve the problem will be great.
Currently still on 10.1 and I secure all my map services and print task generate pdf only able to view on internal network. So when you Enabled Services Directory, even though url point it to your internalservername your have no problem view your pdf from external network? If not, how do you setting it up?
