      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;hoytal,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Yes you can have layers in a different projection as long as they are not specified as tiled. You will take a performance hit doing this tough as ArcGIS Server will have to re-project the map services that are not in the same projection as the map.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
