You can extend the data model in the utility network geodatabase to contain additional tables and relationships for maintenance records, etc. The features that were migrated into the utility network should not be in the new model, because they are now represented by the utility network features.

Greetings:

Background: I have a custom File Geodatabase I've built composed of Feature Datasets, Feature Classes and tables that I have been operating off of for years. It is the heart of our infrastructure, maintenance records, meter/customer data. Recently, I have started building our Utility Network from ArcSolutions to utilize the tracing and analysis capabilities.

Goal: Combine the File GDB and the Utility Network into a single central Geodatabase so I am not updating infrastructure data/attributes in (2) separate models/databases.

Request: What is best business practice that can be recommended for accomplishing this goal?

Appreciate it
