Sure, but you probably need to remove their assignment or delete the field they are assigned to.

Hello, I have been working on running our Utilities (water, sewer, storm) through the Migrate to Utility Network.

I am at the stage of having the UN created in a FGDB, but our team are taking advantage of the data layers being in a FGDB to do a little more 'clean-up' on the schema with the legacy data we're bringing into the UN BEFORE we package everything up to an EGDB and not deal with table schema locks.

QUESTION: Post running the layers through the Migrate tool, I noticed that for DOMAINs, there are names that support AssetType, ie. 'AssetType_SewerDevice_......', but also noticed that my original legacy domain names are saved as well and named similar to the following: 'Orig_Type_Sanitary_Sewer_....'.

Can I delete these 'Orig_Type_Sanitary_Sewer_....' Domain names after the Migrate tool has run and AssetTypes are established?

Screenshot for reference of my Domain table for Sewer:

Thank you for your feedback!
Excellent point and good house-cleaning recommendation. I have verified that my 'Legacy' domains are not assigned to any subtypes. They have zero assignments.

The new 'Asset_Type' domain values created by the Migrate to UN tool have been assigned to the correct assets.

Thanks again for your reply.
