With standard feature layers it works. Still, this is not a real alternative for us. I'll follow up the reported bugs on that and see, if the described problem with move/scale/rotate is covered.

Anybody trying to work with utility network in 3D? We created HV towers and lines in 3D, but there's a bug when editing. The selected features disappear when clicking on a modify features tool (Move, Scale, Rotate). When using Rotate, no rotation circle appears. No editing in 3D is possible.

This bug doesn't show up in 2D or in non-UN data, only Utility Network 3D. Is this known? Can we expect this to be fixed one day? It makes productive working in 3D with Utility Network impossible.

Tried this out with ArcGIS Pro 3.5.0.

If so, you may want to reach out to ESRI support and get a bug ticket logged so they can check it out!

Cody

No, it didn't work in ArcGIS 3.1.5 either. There are a few similar bugs regarding 3D editing in Utility Network, e.g. this: BUG-000178206 for ArcGIS Pro (status: under consideration)

Up to now the recommended workaround is to do the editing in 2D. I just think, this makes UN in 3D quite useless, if you can only do edits in 2D. I'm wondering if there's anybody else sharing experience in that context.

Please try with the standard feature layers. We noticed this as well and seems to be a bug.
