@Rohanrajan - That's good. Slight progress.
In this case you need the one EJE rule or 2 JE rules, not both. I don't think that's the problem but just clarifying.

So you are say there are two edge elements (different subtypes) and there is a riser junction between the two.

Can I confirm the riser junction belongs to ElectricJunction where it is the same ASSETGROUP and ASSETTYPE as mentioned in the rules?

It will be good to see some snapshots of the rules and the map to assist with finding a solution to this issue.

Scenario: An Electric Conductor Line passes through a Switch which is a Controller device.

I have added EJE rule to facilitate the connectivity through a device and both CBD terminals of the device and JE rule for each part of the EJE rule as well. Even then the feature throws a dirty area saying Invalid connectivity - The edges are different subtypes and cannot connect.

And they are even same Subtypes. I Disabled and Enabled Topology after each change I did.

I tried modifying the Flow Directions in all possible combinations, still the error persists.

What am I missing?

Any advice would be much appreciated

Thanks

Could this be on the other end of the line not the switch itself.

Is there a dirty area at the switch where the two conductors meet?

It sounds like what you have done is correct.

Yes, you were right the dirty area was because of the other end of line which indeed connected to a different subtype.
But sadly I had the Rules for that also added, but still not fixed.

EJE Rule - HV Underground Conductor -> Switchgear -> via Riser Junction

JE Rule - Riser Junction -> HV Underground Conductor

JE Rule - Riser Junction -> Switchgear

All lines are configured to connect at any vertex as well.

Tried all the terminal combinations, but no luck.

Yes, the Riser is an ElectricJunction without Terminals and AssetGroup and AssetType mentioned in the rule. Do you say I need just EJE or 2 JE rules?

A screenshot of the features/errors would help in understanding the problem. Seeing exactly where the errors are in relation to the features will help understand what the problem is, and whether it is caused by these rules or something else.

If you want to enforce an EJE rules, then you should not have JE rules that overlap with them. Because you have both this means that you can place a Riser between two primary conductors as well as between two transformerstationswitchgear. If you only want the riser to be able to exist between the primary conductor and the transofmerstationswitchgear, then you need to remove the other rules.
