Utility Network trace widget returning error "Features cannot be selected. Enable to show graphics instead." in Experience Builder App.

We have an experience builder app in Enterprise 11.1 that contains a web map shared from ArcGIS Pro with a Utility Network named trace configuration. The App in Production returns the error "Features cannot be selected. Enable to show graphics instead." when the Utility Network trace widget is used. We have an identical app in Dev and Test environments where the trace works correctly. We have tried publishing a new web map and creating a new experience builder app from scratch and the result is the same. The trace configuration works in ArcGIS Pro and has the results 'aggregated geometry' and 'selection' enabled. @RobertKrisher

I would triple-check the trace configuration in production AND the trace configuration shared with that web map. If you had aggregated geometry in your trace configuration you would see a 'show graphics' toggle, and if you had a selection in your config, you wouldn't get that error.

@Dwarburg - Could it be the map you have published has subtype group layers?

I remember in the early days of our UN setup we encountered something similar and it turned out be an issue with the sub-type group layers. The support for sub-type group layers has been robust 11.3 and onwards and I remember struggling with not being able to select objects.

Possibly could be the issue?

Good guess, but we are not using subtype group layers in this map.

I am also seeing this error in our UN. Any updates on this issue? The trace works fine on a FGDB using the same network data in Pro.

Aggregated Geometry is not selected in the trace configuration.
