Import Features into Utility Network

Hi,

i want to create a new Utility Network. Is there a way to import Features from a Feature Class into the Utility Network layers?

For example: I have a Feature Class called Pipes which contains all the Pipe-Features I want to have in my Utility Network. Can I import these Features (or atleast the geometries) so that I dont have to manually create all the Pipe-Features in my Utility Network again?

The Esri data loading tools, https://solutions.arcgis.com/shared/help/data-loading/, are one method to help you do this with core tools.

Append gp tool is the fast and the right choice in my opinion
