Add additional asset types for elbow fitting angles in the utility network models

For the fittings asset groups please add new asset types for common elbow angles such as:

11.25° Elbow
22.5° Elbow
45° Elbow
90° Elbow

Our field crews like to know what type of elbow is in the ground before heading to a site to know what to bring along for repairs when the need arises.

You are free to add new asset types to your data model to suit any business requirements you may have. The ArcGIS Utility Network already supports this capability.

Thank you for the information. I just wanted to post the idea in case most other organizations are like us and would rather have the default be the specific elbows vs one generic elbow. If no one votes on this, then you are correct that nothing should change with the models.

I am closing this ask because its a configuration change to the model and not functionality that the development team would ship out in a future release of the utility network. I recommend that you reach out to your sales manager and they should be able to help you configure your model as needed.

Fair enough. I have already modified the model to include the additional elbow types for our deployment.
