Hello,

The workflow to achieve this would be to first build the first ground floor part (the 200' x 120') retail space

you can hit the tab button on your keyboard to be able to enter the exact dimensions (see screenshot below)

Next use the snapping capabilities to create the second part (the garage space behind the retail space),

And finally, you can just create additional floors spanning both ground floor parts. Adding 2 garage floor and 9 housing floor, you final building will look something like the screenshot below,

Please let me know if this was helpful and if you have additional questions,

Thanks,

Aziz

How to stack Floors on Multiple Ground Floor Building Spaces?

In ArcGIS Urban, building forms are tied to a single ground floor building space. Is it possible to create a building that spans with multiple ground floor spaces?

For example, consider a 200' x 200' city block. I want to divide the ground floor into two spaces:

A commercial space measuring 200' x 80' facing the street.

A garage space measuring 200' x 120' behind the commercial space.

I then want to stack floors on top of both ground floor spaces. Specifically:

Two floors of parking above both the commercial and garage spaces.

Nine floors of housing above both the commercial and garage spaces.

Can ArcGIS Urban accommodate this kind of multi-space, multi-use building with stacked floors?
