topic Error with relevant field in ArcGIS Survey123 Questions

Hi: I'm on a learning curve with Survey123 -- both browser (which I've had no trouble with) and desktop connect. Following one of the videos, I've tried to filter one question dependent on a previous binary choice. Whatever I do, I get an error after saving it. Attached are two screen shots. One of the error, the other how I wrote the expression.

I've tried on two machines -- one running Excel 2016 and the other 2010. Is there a security setting I'm missing not allowing it to run?

What have I missed? Many thanks for helping!

George
