Edit a Submitted Survey

Hi,

If Survey123 is used to complete a survey/inspection and it is submitted and appears in the sent box it can be edited and resubmitted. Is there any way a survey submitted by another user using a different device be called up and edited?

We have field workers who need to do re inspections but they may not have done the original inspection and as such the original survey would not be in the sent box of their device.

It looks like someone else had this issue. Take a look at this thread:

Unable to edit submitted surveys (Send Error - Code 1009)

There is a setting that needed to be changed in order to make this happen - second last setting on the feature service. ie anonymous editors

Hi Marguerite,

Aside from enabling updating on the future service, you will also want to enable the Inbox functionality in the survey - see Prepare for editing existing survey data—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS for more information.
