Surve123 required fields

When our users submit a survey form it's not automatically moving or show a missed required field. We have 8 different nested forms and it's impossible to know where it is. Is there someway we can have the form take us to the missed required fields?

Hi Jordan,

The field app should be navigating you to the question that is required. There are a couple of complicating factors:

- If the survey has pages, Survey123 currently does not navigate to the page with the required question

- If the question is in a group that has been minimize, Survey123 will take you to the group.

Can this be added though? Or stop them right away before moving on. It has been a big issue for users. Esp since every other forms program we have used did this.

I know some of these are bugs but it really should be able to bring you right to the problem. Imagine buying something online and when filling out the form it just said "missing data error" but did not bring to say your missing first name. It is just expected now.

We have just updated new 3.4 beta builds to EAC which address some issues around required validation and navigating to the question when it is contained in a page or the group collapsed. Please test it out and let us know your feedback.

Hi Jordan,

We just did another EAC update with new builds that fix additional issues with repeats, required, constraints etc. Can you please test out the latest 3.5 beta builds to see if this fixes the problem with your surveys and provide any feedback.
