Create a select one list that is a subset of a previous select multiple list

I asked this question (Cascading select from select multiple question) a while back but got no response and the conundrum has presented itself again. I would like to have a select one question whose choices are limited to the answers selected in a previous select multiple question. I was wondering if this is possible with either a relevant or a choice filter and if so how to go about it?

Example:

Question 1: (Select Multiple)

X Ash

O Elm

X Oak

X Pine

O Spruce

Question 2: (Select One) Choices limited to items selected from Question 1

O Ash

O Oak

O Pine

Hi Brent,

Currently, cascading selects do not work with select_multiple questions. I've added this request to the enhancement issue for this functionality.
