Multiple offline basemaps Survey123

I have created a form in Survey123 connect. There is a geopoint question for the main form and several geopoint/geoshape questions within repeats. These questions use two different basemaps - one for the geopoint questions and an aerial basmeap for the geoshape question. Both have been linked through Linked Content. I have created offline map areas for both basemaps. Only the aerial basemap has been referenced in the body::esri:style of the geoshape question that is in a repeat (if I reference the map id in all the questions it overrides the geoshape question so it doesn't use the aerial imagery basemap). The online maps work fine and I see the correct basemap for each map question. I cannot get it to work with offline maps. Survey123 mobile app will not detect that there are two different basemaps and which offline map to use in which map question. It keeps using the same one for all map based questions. What am I doing wrong?

A different resource which I havn't gone through fully yet. But looks pretty good (and was last updated March 2026). An offline map in Survey123 by Kylie Donia.

I assume you have downloaded both offline basemaps to your device?

Yes, but they seem to conflict with each other and the app only uses one of them
