Survey opened via link in Field App does not prompt for update

~Hello!

I have a survey that requires update to the latest version.

If the survey is opened in app, the updates is being prompted.
If the survey is opened via link like: "arcgis-survey123://?itemID={itemID}", the survey opens without prompting for the updated.

I was wondering if this is a bug or it is by design?

Thank you @DougBrowning, I did not my research well then.

I have a survey that misses calculations when used in a webform and that does not update automatically via link, either way is a disaster!

O upvoted it, for what it matters...
