Hello,

It's been a while since I've had to configure or edit a Survey in the Survey123 web designer. I have an existing survey that needs to be modified. Is it possible to include a conditionally required image and note?

Use case: field workers are performing playground equipment inspections. Each page of the survey includes multiple singe select questions. I would like an image and note question to be required if any of the single select answers are "in need of repair." Is this possible?

Yes you can - the box for required has a drop down with yes but you can put any formula in there that evaluates to a true/false as well. You will get the green mark of an error but it works.

You can also use relevant and just hide the field completely.

Can you elaborate further? I would like an image question to be required if chains is In Need of Repair but the drop down only gives me a count option.

You want to set relevant on image and the note not a constraint. I only use Connect so not sure on the web but look for relevant not a constraint.
