Hi,

In the last while Portal now creates a hosted feature layer view along with the hosted feature layer when a form is published to Portal from Survey123 Connect.

I want staff to submit surveys with editors only able to see their own features. And allow a group to view all the data in a mapviewer.

I had the view open to all staff to submit data, but I can't make it only view their own as this has to come from the hosted feature layer. When I tried to change the setting to only let editors see their own on the hosted feature layer it won't save the changes.

Can anyone tell me how to set this up correctly?

Survey123 website seem to have settings for the view only. It seems to be the case when a survey is published the view is defaulted to only allow users to submit and the hosted feature layer has full editing but is not shared.

I've tested it this morning and sharing the HFL to a group gives them full editing, even though when I go to the settings of the layer it looks like below. The settings below seem to be superseded by settings applied when it's published.

I find it strange as I've always managed the permissions for editing in the settings of the layer in Portal but seems I don't need to now.
