Survey123 Keypad with decimal field does not accept '.' but accepts commas ','

I have created a survey using survey connect Version 3.18

I am unable to input decimal separator as (.) on a Survey 123 keypad, it only accepts a comma ( , )

The workaround below does not solve the problem.

Changing the windows regional setting to decimal symbol (.) does not fix the issue.

I have been having "device keyboard" issues similar to this. It will behave differently on different devices (iPhone, Samsung-android, Google-android). Can you verify that this is happening on all types of devices?

The issue seems to occur on all devices. We tested on iPhone 12 Pro Max other users have tested it on Samsung phones as well as other devices it still occurs.

Have You Found a solution for this? I am experiencing the same challenge on iPhone 13 and Samsung-android tablets.

A solution will greatly be appreciated.
