Issues submitting survey with instance_name defined

Is anyone else having issues when defining the instance_name after this latest release? When I have the instance_name defined, I am not able to submit a survey or a draft of the survey. When I do not have anything specified for instance_name I am able to submit a survey or draft.

The instance_name that is defined in my surveys has been the same for all 4 of my surveys since the beginning, and I haven't come across this issue before.

Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you.

I would not expect any changes in how Instance_Name is handled. Could you please share your XLSfile so we can have a look? If you do not want to attach the XLS file in this forum, you can also open an Esri Technical Support incident and we will get your file that way. Along with the XLS file, we will also need an example of data used to complete the Survey so we can reproduce exactly your case. Thanks.

Oh my gosh, I really need to review my notifications sooner!!!

Please see attached excel file...as far as an example I would just test by entering the date and Site Code "FAR-R1-01" and try to Submit or close to Save as Draft, but nothing happens when I tap either option to submit or save as draft.

Please let me know if you require any other details.

I was just wondering if there has been any updates on this? I will do doing some additional testing in the next couple of days and will update if there is any progress.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. This is Tina Jin from Esri, working with Ismael on Survey123. Looking at your XLSForm, I realized that put the wrong syntax for the instance name setting .Instead of site_code, you should put ${site_code} in the instance_name field. I tested this myself and worked great for me.
