topic Using Survey123 API when using a Portal Redirect in ArcGIS Survey123 Questions

Hello, I would like to generate a report using the survey123 api. There are posts on this forum that explain how to do that: see here.

In my situation I have an added complication, my content is on a portal instance. Typically, I access my surveys by using the following URL structure:

https://survey123.arcgis.com?portalUrl=https://host.domain.com/webadaptor (where host, domain, and webadaptor are replaced by information about your portal)

When using the API I'm at a loss. How do I authenticate? Can I use the API if I need to use a portal redirect?

The URL you provided is not your Portal. That is the Surveys Site. The site is managed by Esri and is where AGO and Enterprise users go to access and manage their S123 content.

For report generation, you will need to know your Portal URL and whether you are on AGO or Enterprise.
