What is every ones' preferred method to unnesting survey123 data? I have four levels of nested data for bird surveys (first level is transects, then points along the transects, then intervals in each point, then individual grouse detected in each interval) all connected with global and parent IDs. I'm trying to unnest all of the data into one large table, so it isn't spread out across different sheets in excel. I've been having trouble figuring it out in R and excel.

Data attached. The DUGR ind and RUGR ind sheets are on the same nesting level

If my end goal was one large data sheet, I’d make it as i went via Power Automate.

Doing this after the fact? Honestly, I’d probably just do it manually or semi-manually. Using index(match()) or potentially vlookup() in excel would likely get you what you want.

Edit. Had a look at the data. Doesn’t look like too much. Id definitely use the index(match()) of vlookup() approach.
