topic Survey123 Image-Map Questions - Include graphic/image results of SVG in output reports in ArcGIS Survey123 Questions

The image-map question type is quite useful for quickly populating a string field with outputs from clicking on zones in an svg using the select_multiple option (e.g. risk matrix example). We would like to also capture the graphic results from the completed question as an image (jpg/png) attachment. The actual graphic output is very helpful for capturing lots of information that can be absorbed at a glance. Short of taking a screenshot of the completed image-map question and adding it as an attachment, is there another way to do this within Survey 123. We want to have the image included in the output report.

Hello @WetherbeeDorshow,

There is not an easy out of the box way to include an image-map image in a report template. Please feel free to reach out to Esri Technical Support to log an Enhancement for this functionality.

With that said when you insert an SVG into the report template, Word gives the option to "Convert to shape" which converts the SVG into Word shapes. It may be possible with some advanced logic to return a modified version of the shapes depending on the answer. Depending on how many choices there are in the image this may be quite a bit of logic and especially if it's a select_multiple question it may be quite difficult.
