Uploading data from files into survey

I am a new user of Survey123. And Survey123 connect.

I want to know if the following is possible and the best way to do it.

I want my survey to take a landowner's unique number among 100's of landowners and go and look in a file/database and upload the tree species and number of trees allocated to that specific landowner and for them then to the record in the table the number of species that are currently alive.

Is this possible and if so how is the best way to do this?.

Hello @AnnetteL,

I would suggest checking out the pulldata() function. You can store all this information in a CSV file and when the user enters their unique number you can populate information from the CSV for the record that matches the unique number.
