Thanks Doug! This worked perfectly. Also, made it where I can require answers within the repeat which has helped with some users skipping a necessary field.

Thanks again, Marjorie

Hello Everyone,

We are using a repeat to create Work Orders in our Inspection survey.

We have two feature classes one for the Inspections, one for the Work Orders (created by the repeat) and a relate table.

Is there a way to not create a record in the Work Orders feature class if there are no discrepancies found and there is no data in the fields of the record.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Marjorie

I think an appearance of compact or minimal can do it.

But for us we added a question like Where there any discrepancies? and then set a relevant on the begin repeat line using that question field. This way we also know they did not forget that step (or records got deleted) and they made a choice to pick no. You could also default it to no if you want.

Hope that helps.
