    <description>&lt;P&gt;Has anyone had issues with the performance in S123 Connect being poor? I have experienced it taking a considerable amount for the app to launch, the app crashing while in a survey form, or running other routine tasks. I have a fairly high performance desktop, so all the culprits such as RAM, CPU, etc., aren't indicating an issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TIA!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

We add the 4000ish addresses for one of text field for autocomplete purpose. It sometime was extremely slow when save and try to sync back to the Portal.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This is most common with two things:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Surveys with a lot of calculations&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Surveys with big lists. At some point (500 per list) you really want to move to external choice lists.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;As&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.esri.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/360574"&gt;@rsun_TQB&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;mentioned 4000 choices = slow. They'll be created as domains. Better to push to a csv. As I said previously, the app takes forever to load, in addition to crashing at random times.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.esri.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/574102"&gt;@LydiaWerner_MAC&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would suggest contacting Esri support, and your IT department at the same time.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it's a global issue of Survey123 Connect being slow, Esri will treat it as high priority to fix this issue...but if it is not caused by the reason both&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.esri.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/412943"&gt;@ChristopherCounsell&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;and I talked about. It might be something going on with your Mac or PC or even network issues regarding VPN or internet speed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope the issue that you are facing will be resolved soon &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Are you on the latest version?&amp;nbsp; My Connect loads in 3-4 seconds.&amp;nbsp; I have forms 500+ lines and 10,000+ in the lists without issue.&amp;nbsp; It can be a clunky app at times but nothing major.&amp;nbsp; I get a few crashes a year maybe.&amp;nbsp; Are you installing it in a place besides C or anything like that?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'd always recommend specifying the version, it really does help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I the end we can offer a few suggestions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&amp;nbsp;Survey123 Connect version (apparently not)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Survey forms (does not sound like it)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Broader issues (none appear to be reported by other users)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;PC (you have ruled out, and the app itself is light)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;The last two things you can investigate are tied to network traffic:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Where is the Survey123 Connect content directory? Is it your local drive or have you tried to place it on a network? Is it on a OneDrive or something?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;What is your internet/network environment like? Is Survey123 Connect slow if you connect to a different WiFi? Do you have antivirus running? Is your IT security tight?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The situation has resolved itself though I'm not sure what changed exactly. I do believe that it was background applications running set up by our IT administrator that were impeding performance as I spent some time watching the computer task manager.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I also have issues with Connect crashing.&amp;nbsp; Connect open fine (well, usually), but on any given day where I work with Connect I can expect 3-5 crashes, occasionally more (I finally started keeping a tally).&amp;nbsp; I'm on the latest version, my surveys are very small, lists are &amp;lt;20 records.&amp;nbsp; My computer is &amp;lt;1year old, and also high performing.&amp;nbsp;Content and app are on local drive. Computer is hard-wired to internet, wireless can be flaky.&amp;nbsp; I'm to the point where I just leave task mgr up so I can 'end task' and restart.&amp;nbsp; It's not life changing, but it is frustrating.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My internet is &lt;EM&gt;not&lt;/EM&gt; speedy, however, I can see the icon change if I lose connection, and I never see the internet even hiccup when Connect hangs.&amp;nbsp; It can happen when I first open Connect, when I save the XLSForm and click on the Connect window; it's not usually when I'm editing the form.&amp;nbsp; I've asked my IT but they have no suggestions.&amp;nbsp; I haven't seen anything in the task mgr that suggests an app running in the background - but I'm unsure that I would recognize something anyway.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I work at a university - there is high security and anti-virus, but I can't turn it off.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Appreciate any suggestions for what to look for.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Users are less likely to look at discussion on a solved post.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would suggest:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Testing on a non-uni wifi, if possible&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Asking IT to review this document&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://downloads.esri.com/resources/enterprisegis/AGOL_Domain_Requirements.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://downloads.esri.com/resources/enterprisegis/AGOL_Domain_Requirements.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Lodging an Esri support ticket, as they may be able to take an active look via screenshare&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;... and for anyone reading, &lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;s&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;tating what actual version of Survey123.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've seen 'latest' not be latest, or refer to a beta version. It also makes it hard for later review as it's difficult to readily identify what the 'latest' release was in May 2023. The version + the XLSForm = the fastest way for you to get assistance on forums / esri support.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
