Use external list to check answer of another question. Is this possible?

Hello,

I am working to move a questionnaire form online. I want to be able to check a integer/text question with an external list to ensure what they have put in is indeed correct/in our records.

Is this possible?

You could use search and give them a list vs asking then checking. Easier for the user.
