Survey123 Text filter option?

So within my survey, my one question has many choices.

Example Question: Inventory Part. There are hundreds of choices from the list it's associated with.

Is there an expression that can be used in the Survey123 Connect Excel that when the user goes to fill in this question, that as they start typing it will find the options that match part of what they typed in? Also, what field in the excel sheet would I put the expression in?

So if they type in - SC - It would find all choices in the list that contain this possibility within it like the two below.

#10 SPLIT RING LOCK WSHR ZINC - SC33614XX

#4 MEDIUM SPLIT LOCK WASHER - SC4000XXX

Rather than just the expressions 'starts with' or 'ends with'.

Hi Amber,

I believe that using the 'autocomplete' appearance type with your select_one question should provide you with the option that you are looking for.

I have a similar question where I need to be able to start typing BUT select several item in the list (without having to repeat the question if possible). The autocomplete doesn't work with select_multiple, is there a way around ?
