Hello,

I am using Survey123 for our fish sampling events. I have set the survey up to repeat for each individual salmonid we catch and includes data specific to that fish (weight, length, parasites, etc). In addition, we are using BluePiano to input the PIT (RFID) tag number from our HPR Plus. It works really well but I'd like to make it better. For BluePiano to input the PIT tag number you need to actively be in the PIT tag # field. Our fish sampling procedure is to scan fish first to see if they already have a PIT tag, so this is the first thing we do when adding a new data point (aka repeat). I was hoping there is a way to have the PIT tag # field be automatically active when adding new fish (aka adding repeats).

Does anyone know how to do this in xlsforms?

Thanks

I think this would be a great use case for tab order. Please upvote here https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-ideas/add-tab-order-to-survey123/idi-p/941555
