search function not working when hosted feature layer is not shared with everyone

Hello,

I'm working on a survey that uses a dynamic choice list on a select one drop-down. I'm using a search expression in the appearance cell of a select one question. It works fine if the hosted feature layer on AGOL is shared with everyone but not otherwise. The layer I'm using should not be shared publicly, Is there a workaround?

Hello @Henry7512Custer,

The search() appearance should work as expected with a secure service as long as the service is in the same ArcGIS organization as the survey. If it's in a different ArcGIS organization Survey123 is going to pass along your current access token and if the service is in a different organization that organization will view the token as invalid.
