How to determine if survey was submitted by web app or field app

Hello Survey123 Community,

I currently have a survey that users submit surveys though the web app (website) and through the field app (iOS or Windows). I want to be able to determine if the user submitted via the web, the iOS app or Windows field app. Is there a way to do this with a pulldata() call or another method? This would allow me to troubleshoot form differences between submission methods. Thank you for your time.

Hi @AndrewPadilla，

When you author surveys in Survey123 Connect, you may try to use deviceid question type to collect data.

Currently, there is no method for website.

Try deviceid anyway to see if your request is met.
