S123 Team,

Is it possible to add audio to a S123 Connect form from an audio hosting website through embeds or other methods?

The audio question type works in both field app and web app to attach an audio file type question. Due to the way attachments work in AGO and Enterprise, the file type must be a supported file type.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your reply. I'm curious about Web URL audio links embedded though HTML (not files). When working with Connect I've noticed that the previewer doesn't display these.

After more testing, I published the connect form and it is rendered in the Web Form but still not visible in Connect. Thoughts?

Hi @Amanda__Huber,

Thanks correct, the embedded audio files via URL are not supported in Survey123 COnnect and field app, this will only work in web app. For Connect and field app the audio file must be added as a file in the media folder and referenced via a note or using the image field.
