Survey123 'filter by submitted date' shows all related data

Just noticed that if you filter a survey for say the last 7 days, and export it the main survey is filtered but any data within a repeat isn't filtered.

IE if I've got 2 surveys done in the last 7 days and each has 2 related records i would expect it to only show these 4 related records rather than all the repeat data for all records

is my understanding correct or should the filter only filter the main data and thus is working as designed?

Hi Stuart,

The Survey123 export should be exporting only those records that are related to the filtered parent records - are the related records you see associated with other parent records?

yea, i get the related records to all the parent records not just the subset i've filtered for

That's interesting - I tested a survey with a date range and the export worked as expected. It's fairly late for this to be an issue, but can you empty the browser cache for the Survey123 website? We introduced filtering child records earlier this year.
