Error using Survey123 for ArcGIS app

When I click on Collect to start collecting data I get a blank screen. I am able to view the form by just licking the link

Using the APP I get this and do not know the issue.

Hi Trevor,

I cannot view the link you sent. It just sends me to the main survey123 page.

Be sure you do not have any 'illegal' characters for your form or app. Earlier someone posted that they used an ampersand (&) and that gave them the same result with the blank collection screen (like you're seeing). Try sticking only to letters and numbers and see if that helps.

I also saw the ampersand post, but that doesn't seem to be the problem for me. I had one titled "Hydrant_123" and it showed up blank. I tried "Hydrant-123", "Hydrant123", and even "Hydrant", and still got blank surveys. I have another named "Valve-123", and it works just fine.

That's pretty strange, Alex. It must be something going on with that particular field, I would think. Could you completely remove that field and create it again?

I wasn't even thinking about the individual questions having weird characters. I was only paying attention to the title. I made an entirely new survey and made sure every single thing on it was "legal"... and it worked. Thanks for giving me that idea!
