Survey123 Cascade Select error message ('list object' has no attribute 'startswith')

Hello Survey 123! I keep getting an error message ('list' object has no attribute 'startswith') when I try to set up a cascade select. Now, I have successfully used cascade selects in previous surveys but cannot figure out why it is bugging out with this one! Has anyone else received this error or know what it relates to?
