Blank record created when using field-list

According to Repeat Always Creating Record, having pulldata and calculated fields in the repeat will create a blank record, is this still expected behavior? I have tried the minimal appearance, as an attempt to avoid this empty record creation. I would prefer to have the option of pages for my repeats, is it possible to do field-list and minimal together?

Hi Chelsey,

Yes you are correct, putting a calculation or pulldata expression in a repeat will create a blank record in the repeat, well actually it is not blank as it has the values created by the calculation or pulldata expression.

Using minimal and other appearance types can avoid this, or you can try and use relevance,

Note that pages (field-list) is not support for repeats, only for groups.
