Unable to cache base map using Survey123

Survery123 (2.1.6) does not seem to be caching maps for offline use using various iPhone. I'm wondering if this is a bug in the latest release.

Can you elaborate on 'not caching' - is it not reading a tpk file?

Hello James:

While connected to WiFi or cellular, Survey123 moblile app will load ESRI base maps (I haven't tried this with any custom tile packages). However, these maps do not appear to load into the cache. For instance, under Settings and the Advanced tab, the size of the Map Cache does not change as maps are loaded and maps do not show when off-line.

Yes, that should be expected- Survey123 does actively cache the tiles previously loaded.

I'm not sure what you mean. Last year I launched several Surveys for off-line use in remote areas where there is no wifi or cellular and we were successfully caching map tiles for off-line use. The Clear Map Cache button under the advanced tab says there is 21.66Mb in cache. Am I missing something or has something changed?
