Android device not pointing to photo gallery for attachments

When trying to attach from the gallery from a Samsung S6 Active the app does not display the photo gallery. Instead it displays a file structure similar to windows explorer. I can not seem to find where the photos are stored in this file structure (DCIM/camera). When tested on an apple device the app points to the photo gallery.

Any help is appreciated.

I'd recommend you take a look to my response of https://community.esri.com/message/663977-image-selection-in-survey123-app for some background about images & Android. We have logged a photo gallery display for Android that attempts to work around these issues as an enhancement.
