Survey123 pulldata text vs number to match another answer

Field: Assigned inspector is in Choices worksheet.

Field: Contract is in Choices worksheet & shows a dropdown specific to the usersname.

pulldata('Contract_working2019', 'ContractName','ContractNumber',${Contract})

Field: Licensee data is in a csv file in the media folder & uses the Contract number to pull data.

This field works with last year’s data which shows the "number showing as text" error flag.

This year’s fields no longer show the "number showing as text" error flag and they are breaking the link.

Is there another way I can do this, so next year we won't have this issue?

I've tried changing the fields in the choices worksheet to text, and general, but I don't get the error flag. I've also changed the .cvs column to number, text, and general to no avail.

Hi Michele,

Just to check, are you referring to the issue with regards to entering the choices/data into Excel? One way to enter numeric data as text in Excel is to begin the entry with a single quote:

'1234567
