I want to export data as a file geodatabase but when I do I get an error that just says "Failed to Export" it will export in other forms but that is not really what I want.

You could try going direct to the feature layer in AGOL or portal and doing an export from there or you could try and use this script: Downloading Survey123 data to file geodatabase via python script, when other methods fail :
