Thanks Gary!

Would this also be possible with anonymous users working offline? I call Survey from Explorer and when I sync my question it forces me to log in. After that I can sync but there is still a new record in the feature layer for each of my questions or in other words a new geopoint collected.

In the settings for my feature service I have “Update attributes only” checked for the editing options. It seems I am missing something.

Hi all!

I have a scenario where I want to users to access a survey from ArcGIS Explorer. The survey is based on a hosted feature service in arcgis.com and I want them to update the existing features in the FS, not create new features. In other words, not create a new feature in the hosted service.

Anyone know how I can achieve this?

My thinking is that to be able to do this I need to stop Survey from recording a geopoint, but maybe I’m looking in the wrong place?
