Copy online story map to on-prem portal

My org currently has enterprise (portal) v 10.6. The new style story map isn't available, so I've been creating them online.

A couple of articles indicate I might be able to copy them to our on-prem portal:

Does anyone have any experience moving a story map from on line to on-prem? Would it be possible to move the new style storymap?

Joe -- Unfortunately copying a StoryMaps item to your portal won't work since the code for the new ArcGIS StoryMaps doesn't exist in your portal environment. We're looking at bringing the new StoryMaps to ArcGIS Enterprise and will have more to announce about that in 2020.
