How to keep view extent when changing slide in "Slideshow"?

We are using the new StoryMaps to publish some content created by our organization (www.amb.cat). We have one question about the "slideshows" tool:

We want the user to zoom into their area of interest and then see the different data for that area as they change the slide. Is it possible to keep the same extent and zoom level when the user change the slide after exploring the map? We have two stories with different behavior and we would like to know how to control it.

We observe, also, that if you only change the zoom level (and dont pan) on any map, it keeps the same zoom level too. We know "slideshows" is a beta feature but it would be great if it would be possible to control this behaviour.
